Duned down on Sat to Gordons well from Glamis on quad and was looking foward to a cold beer and the famous paradise burger I've enjoyed before and was greeted by the I assume owner (older lady, short gray hair) and was told the grill was shut off 45 mins (no probs so far,I understand) and when I asked her if that meant in 45 mins we could place our order and wait another 30-45 mins behind the 20 or so peeps already waiting she goes off like a bitch on me. Screw u , I simply asked and was treated rudly for asking. If I ran my business like that I'd be out of business in a flash. We figure our group would have dropped $300-400 eating and drinking (16 of us) so since paradise is doing so well they dont need our $$$$ and want to act like assholes I'll never stop in there again and most of the peeps in our group said the same. Im sure its a tough job,one I wouldnt want for sure but dont dump on loyal people who rode down from glamis to eat your food.

I have to agree with you, they think because they are the only store/restaurant and some peeps rely on them for food / supplies that they can treat duners as they owe the store something. I have heard your complaint from several people. I bet for sure if another store opened near gordons pair-a-dice would be shut down within a year. who knows where it could be built though

Its a shame really, same with beach Store up north. Ive never been disrespectful or stole from them but every time you go to either you walk in ,keep your head down and try not to make eye contact, whats up with that ??? Tired of people pissing and moaning about the prices ?? Stop taking advantage of the people and try being pleasant to others or simply sell out and leave but why be miserable and treat others crappy cuz you feel you can.

They can be pretty saucy on a busy weekend. I asked for scrambled eggs in my Breakfst Bowl once and the chick bit my head off!
Slow weekends are usually pretty cool. Don't these people have some grandkids to work the place? They need to lighten up and take it easy.

i agree with bansh88....
they are nice on off weekends and turn into a--holes on busy. but i can see why. dealing with those a--hole duners (not all) can bring you to a boiling point. you may have unforunately gotten the shaft of the stick.
go there on an off weekend and youll be treated like royality. my buddy and i was able to walk around w/ our backpacks on on an off weekend... they usually dont allow them inside.

I've always had great food and friendly service but we were frustrated last time we were there because we came from the north dunes dreaming about biscuits and gravy and got there just as the grill was shut off. They were stern and very clear about the cutoff time and they were not swayed by our whines and groans.

Since we'd been there before with no bad treatment we just took our lumps and waited for lunch while listening to our tummies growl.
That's as close as I've come to bad service... not what I would have considered rude... just "direct".
