I posted these in the vintage glamis pics but they are from Dumont and are of three wheelers.
So I figured I'd post the pics here too....

I would say these are 1986/1987 time frame, the 250 R was brand new....didn't even have paddles for it yet.

So the first couple are me roosting the R, then I tried it with the X.....just didn't have the ooomph the throw a roost.




















Picture of my brothers and I, I'm holding my helmet. The ATC was an 81 250R bored out to a 300. Freakin death trap!!


My brother and his wife on his first quad....this pic had to be 88 I'm thinking.


Back in the old days you could go across the highway from Dumont and go exploring the mines.


Our camp at Dumont, if you look really closely there are no Toy Haulers Everyone had a Moho and flatbed trailer
or a truck and camper with a flatbed.


Good times and great memories.

Here are a few pictures of us in Glamis in about 86. The first pic is in the river bed near where we live I just bought my 84 Tacate. Next in Glamis after a few mods. That thing was crazy fast. By the way I still have the tacate in my shop.

Nice pics, brings back old memories. We had a 4x4 van, a flat bed trailer and tents. Those days were really fun, no rangers, no big crowds, no drama.

man, i gotta grab the photo album from the folks and scan some of the pics in. most are from the mid 70s-mid 80s. i was always sittin on moms 110 or in someones odessey. dad used to try an take me on his RD400 ATC contraption but id have a fit, probably cuz it was sooo damned loud with drag pipes
