Peter,
Nice seeing you again, your son did a great job on the pics......btw nice job on the wheelie.......

Yes, it was good seeing and hangin' with everyone.
The pic's... Thanks, I thought he did pretty well for an eight year old.
The wheelie... yeah, after a pass or two I got finally got the right gear & power curve figured out and there it was.
Click to view attachment The story is a little humorous though. My eight year old son has ridden many hours duning with me, but we/our group had never really purposely found a spot just to do wheelies. So, after coming upon and seeing the others doing wheelies Saturday, my son really wanted to do one too. What's priceless is that after the first and second attempts, he began and continued volunteering pointers - coaching me if you will via the headset on how to make a really big wheelie; "You should shift at this point..." and, "You need more speed before the jump..." etc. He was determined to do a big wheelie.
However, once he found himself staring at only the blue sky through the windshield, he suddenly became a little reluctant to do it again. Well we did it again any way. That was some quality father/son time right there.
Thanks Dune FREQ and others for taking and posting the pics. I down loaded our wheelie pic and printed out an 8x10 that Sunday night because he wanted to take it to school Monday for the "Look what I did this weekend" time in his class.
Great times indeed.
Peter
