So Finally starting to make a video from the weekend. Opinions... Keep it All SCU or SCU and friends? There were other buggies in the group that I can add it, still being mostly SCU in it.

a - All SCU
b - SCU and Friends

Kathy / Tres - I have it - found it on the stage in the AM when cleaning up - thought the winner just forgot it.
Will get it out of the moho tomorrow.

Hello Don & Kathy,

This is Marty & Cyndi Stolze just wanted to say thank you for a great weekend. Was really nice to see all the SCU cars there and it is an honor to own the #3 car, runs and handles great. The festivities Saturday night were alot of fun. Oh by the way we were the ones who won the receiver hitch cover it was our daughter Aislinn who brought up the info on the SCU business card in the envelope. We had a great time and dinner was great too.

Thank You,

Marty & Cyndi

Hi Guys, glad to hear you had a great time. I had a feeling it was you. Our friend Steve Dean who announced the raffle Sat. night found it the next morning on the trailer. He said he'll give it to Tres. Let me know in a week if you haven't heard from him and I'll get in touch with him.

Thank you Don & Kathy for hosting a great weekend! The weekend certainly contributed to another good memory of Glamis for my eight year old son & me.

It was nice seeing Dan from the shop there too.

Like others have said, it was so nice to be able to meet and camp with all the SCU (and non-SCU people) - putting faces to the names we see here on the board.

Once again, thanks to Walt for enduring the solitude and gutting it out alone early in the week. Thanks also to Wild Bill, Sandseeker and others who helped cook up the delicious dinner Saturday evening. I’m sure that there are many other people who deserve a thank you for helping make this weekend the success it was too.

The raffle was a lot of fun too (although some people are suspiciously luckier than others) Well done MC Steve.

The dune runs were great fun - running with so many SCU cars and others too. There must have been 20 plus cars on the dune run Sunday morning - Hogduner (Andy) did a good job keeping the long line from crossing itself, which was not an easy task.

Looking at the line up of cars for the picture on Saturday morning, I couldn't help but think about how proud Don & Kathy should be to have so many loyal customers who consider themselves a friend of SCU. Thank you for building a great car and a solid reputation of quality over thee last 20 years. May success follow you in the years ahead as well.

It really did feel like a family style event. Thanks to all for making it that way. We are looking forward to the next SCU gathering.

Here are a few pics my son took.

Yes, it was good seeing and hangin' with everyone.

The pic's... Thanks, I thought he did pretty well for an eight year old.

The wheelie... yeah, after a pass or two I got finally got the right gear & power curve figured out and there it was.

The story is a little humorous though. My eight year old son has ridden many hours duning with me, but we/our group had never really purposely found a spot just to do wheelies. So, after coming upon and seeing the others doing wheelies Saturday, my son really wanted to do one too. What's priceless is that after the first and second attempts, he began and continued volunteering pointers - coaching me if you will via the headset on how to make a really big wheelie; "You should shift at this point..." and, "You need more speed before the jump..." etc. He was determined to do a big wheelie.

However, once he found himself staring at only the blue sky through the windshield, he suddenly became a little reluctant to do it again. Well we did it again any way. That was some quality father/son time right there.

Thanks Dune FREQ and others for taking and posting the pics. I down loaded our wheelie pic and printed out an 8x10 that Sunday night because he wanted to take it to school Monday for the "Look what I did this weekend" time in his class.

Great times indeed.
