DragonFire World Cup Nov 15th 2008

With the Arizona Premier of Thrillbillies Friday night the 14th at DragonFire Racing, we thought the timing would be perfect to have our Race the following day, allowing some of the race footage to be used in next year’s Thrillbillies movie.
Do to the short time frame to put this together, Julie at ET has agreed to once again host the race, with DragonFire being the Title Sponsor.
We are going to donated all Proceeds from the Premiers silent Auction to the Pro Purse.
We have 3 Sets of shocks from Elka, wheels and tires from ITP, Product from Kicker, Monster, Ogio, Makita, GoddFrey Films, Skull Candy and Many more to be added.
We will post a silent auction product list later next week. Julie has also agreed to provide a 50 % Pro Pay back for the Pro 800cc UTV class.
The Format will be a mix of CORR and outdoor Motocross.
Sat morning open Practice.
4 Lap qualifying race for gate position.
Heat 1 is a 15 minutes plus a lap race. There will be mandatory yellow at the 10 minute mark. (CORR drivers please educate the forum on how this works) then 5 more minutes of racing and then 1 lap.
Heat 2 is two hours later: Same format
The low score from the two races wins the DragonFire World Cup.
If there is a tie in points then the better score from the second race wins.
There is two UTV Categories
These classes will race separately, allowing for a great day of Racing. Between Qualifying and racing there will be 6 UTV Races that day.
Pro 800 CC and under
Amateur 800 CC and under
These are 4 stroke displacements. A Two stroke would have to be 400 CC and under to compete.
As long as the UTV you are racing is 800 CC Four Stroke and under, and utilizes a CVT clutch you can compete in the UTV Class.
We will be posting Protest rules and cost. We will have on site Displacement checks for the top 5 overall finishers. (only under protest)
ET is responsible for all Tech, Entry, Safety and Scoring. DragonFire will be presenting the additional prize money to the winner of Pro UTV class.
We will pay down to 5th place. With money from the premier, and the 50% pay back from ET, we should generate over $6000 in prize money for the Pro UTV class.
30 Pro entrants at $200 plus over $3000 from the silent auction should make for a great pay back. The more people show up for the Friday Night Premiere, the more money can be raised for the pro purse.
If you plan on Racing, Please come with your vehicles Friday night to the Premier, we will have all the Race Cars on Display, and will Do Tech and entry that night, to make Saturday morning a race day only.
We will have tech and registration Saturday morning for the people who are coming from out of state and can not make the Premiere.
Please post any questions, on this thread. We will post and additional thread with update on prizes and the Premiere.
Information on the race, Entry forms, and Prize will be posted on the front page of DragonFire Racing. Please use this link. Information page will be up Monday.
