Just a couple pics of what I did to the car over the "summer" which consists of the last couple weeks before the first trip to the dez last weekend.

Swapped out the crappy K&N for a UMP I picked up a while ago
Got rid of the charlynn steering and went to a Howe power rack....SOOOOOO much better!!
Had the tranny rebuilt
Put in an intercom system

Nice work, does it run or sound any different with the new filter and longer intake? Too bad you had to burn up the powder coat!

It seems to run pretty similar. Actually feels like it picked up a little torque off the bottom. Next time I go out I'm going to play around with the mapping since it's always had some off idle and vtec issues since new.

As for the powder coat....the first "grind" was the hardest. After that it was easy! I'm going to have some paint mixed up once I'm finished with everything (which will probably be a while!)
