what hurts?

Hey Slap we had a friend hang out with us at the fire the other night. He was the biggest scorpion I have ever seen @ Glamis, about 5" or so. I just scooped him up with the shovel and moved him about 30 yards outta camp, he wasn't very happy about that. It sure beats the screams of "kill him" & "throw it in the fire".
After that it was time to replace the flip flops with some shoes....

I talked to a buddy tonight that was at Wash 6 last weekend and they had 2 Scorpions wondering around.
Is there any reason for the rise in Scorpions? I know they're out there but I have never heard of so many being found at the same time?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Scorpions we have out here are not venomous to us but I know a sting will hurt like hell.
