Tried to talk Steve into last year (when he built my car). Now that he's back in California...maybe it will happen! You can count me in, just let me know when and where!

Steve mentioned that he was thinking about getting something together when I seem him this summer. Seems like a good idea, would be interested in going if I'm free when it happens. Have always enjoyed my Wuerth car & LOVE my new by-pass front end!

Thx! Good question. We are going to powder/paint the body now and powder the chassis later. I love the look of clean TIG welds without powdercoat. It will have that class 1 feel to it for a while.

Good call, my last two cars have been that way current car still Raw. It always gives you the option of adding stuff later that you realize you want/need after you use the car a couple times. Steve is an amazing tig welder he tigged most of my Wuerth car for me. Best thing for the raw chassis to keep away rust is liquid floor wax just apply it with a rag had my wuerth car 3 seasons before powder and my current is going on its second season never had any rust on either, Steve should know about it I told him about when I built my Wuerth car.

I think our spring break in Oregon is the 20th-27th. Does that work for your schedules? Dont know who has kids and when other families will be available to make the trip. Has anyone talked to Steve ? Are you going to come Steve? You should probably take the car for a spin to see if it needs any" fine tuning".

Sad to see not more activity in this thread since the end of March is almost upon us.

Anyway I have that weekend 3/27-29 already blocked out for a trip. Even if an "official" trip doesn't happen we could still plan on meeting up at G if anyone was interested. My buddy & fellow Wuerth owner plans on going that weekend as well I believe.

Just got back this mourning from a three day trip to Dumont Dunes with CG Duner, we are both planning on making it to Glamis March 27-29 for the Wuerth Gathering. Hoping the interest from other Wuerth owners increases, would be great to see Steve away from the shop.
