this might be a misprint but I saw this posted on another site. Billet throttle which is $120 everywhere else is $19.95 on this site. They have to honor it. I ordered mine. $28.00 shipped to my door

I just ordered one too. Now it's just wait and see. The stock throttle on the YFZ 450 destroys my thumb, so maybe this will help. If not, it's not a huge price to pay, and it will look cool.

For those who haven't tried one I had one on my banshee and you all know the stock banshee throttle will wear out your thumb, it made a significant difference and the lever was longer. A must if you're still using the thumb throttle. I hope the red comes close to matching the YFZ.
Hustler, I've bought through them before and It gets here in 3-4 days usually

Does anyone else think $8.00 for ground shipping is overpriced for something this small and that light?
The piece is cheap enough to not make it matter, but it still seems weird.

They probably based that on the actual price, which should be $119.95, I would imagine. Most online companies charge shipping based on price not weight.

My order from yesterday is still approved. The only difference is that when you select the colors, the polished said "Usually ships in one day". The other colors say "Usually ships in 3-6 days". It doesn't say that now, but that could be because of all the orders based on that killer price.
I'm hoping that the polished one I ordered shipped before they could catch it.

My order was cancelled. I think it was their mistake on posting the wrong price and not honoring it. That should be considered false advertisement. I called the Better Business Bureau on this, and they said that honoring price all depends on the company's Policies. In the policy of the Motorcycle superstore it says;
Mistakenly posted prices on the Superstore do not obligate the Superstore to those incorrect prices.
Well oh well almost got a Sweet Deal.

Mine was cancelled too.
"Mistakenly posted prices on the Superstore do not obligate the Superstore to those incorrect prices. "
This may relieve them of the obligation of selling more items that were priced incorrectly, but they took orders for quite a few of them before they caught THEIR mistake.
I don't see how even this policy excuses them from completed existing orders.
Eff that place.

Probably none. I ordered mine just after it was posted.
| QUOTE (efward) |

We all knew it was too good to be true. Every other site that sells them had them listed at $124.95. That policy excuses them from an employee miskeying an entry. That is a common practice on all Web Store Fronts. The BBB won't do anything about it.
Here is the Amazon.com policy
| QUOTE (Amazon.com) |
With respect to items sold by Amazon.com, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following: If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. |

I'm still troubled by this.
Sure I knew it was too good, but that doesn't change the offer of sale and the fact that they executed a sale.
If this weren't an online vendor would it change anything?
Let's say you stopped by a car dealer and you saw a clean vette for 10K sticker price.
You stop in and accept the sale price. They draw up the sales order and purchase contract, and you go to your bank to secure financing - better yet let's say you pay cash up front. When you go back to pick up the car they tell you that they mispriced the car and it should have been 50K - still want to buy it?
Do you take the same 'oh well' stance. Not me. At that point I feel like I've already bought it. My next call would be my attorney.
The fact that this place automates their order taking, and bypasses checks for mispriced items is THEIR choice.
Now I don't see this being worth the fight but this place gave themselves a blackeye in my book by welching on compelted deals.
Oh well.

i agree with you 100% they should have stopped orders til they got it figured out and not went back and canceled orders. thats chickensh!t but from what i have learned is the internet has its own rules to sale stuff and it can be a sh!tty place to buy stuff sometimes. i know they can use the fact that they might (weither they are in the US or not) not be in the US and so our laws for false advertising doesnt exist. see thats the thing that keeps me away from or all buying on the internet. you never know who is gonna try and screw ya.
i dont know if ill ever trust the internet with my shopping pleasures.

not that i agree with the internet company at all.i was just thinking of how everyone was taking advantage of a mistake and how it could ruin a business.keeping a safeguard for honest mistakes is one thing.if they were bait and switching or something like that would be another.its a no win situation. at least youre not out anything except an opportunity to score an insane deal that i wish i could have gotten 2 of myself.be thankful you didnt get your money taken in a scam.

I wish I had seen this earlier!
Anyone remember, from the 70's I believe, A car dealership down in Mission Valley that had a billboard that said...
"Get a Volaré for a song"
A couple went into the dealership, sang "Happy Birthday to you" and demanded their car!
I believe they got their car... but the billboard was yanked down very quickly!

Different scenario, unless the purchase contract had verbage that stated something like: "our best efforts, a small number of the items that we price may be be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following....."
Then they might have an out. But a signed purchase contract is a signed purchase contract. Different than an order from an internet site, or even a mail order catalog.
This isn't just internet or mail order, have you looked at ad's in your Sunday paper. Read the fine print, it says essentially the same thing.
