Buddies family has some space there and invited us out there this Turkeyday weekend,but I dont know anything about it.Personally I go to the desert to get away from sardine camping but Im up for anything if its worth it.Ayone have any info?Pros ,cons etc.

No way, you can't go to an rv park at Ocotillo, the camping gods might strike you dead...........

We have stayed there many times.
Pro,s> electricity,water,showers.
Con,s> no privacy,the lady that runs it is a bitch,rules.
On a busy weekend it can be a good place to get away
from the dust and crowds.

Dont want to anger the camping gods!I think since Im driving Im going to veto the RV park and head down split mountain .That way we can still hook up with the group at the rv park,but be away from the zoo.Any suggestions?
