camp site is mostly married folks in their mid 30's to 40's...kids...respectful kids...laid back group....some go to bed early, some party late into the night but respect those who crash early...no drama, no clicky groupie crap....just out for fun while being an adult....
duelsporter
Will be there from 30 to 3 up to about 40 people so far.

Don't know yet. Our MoHo holds 130 gallons fresh and 50 gallons grey and 50 gallons black. I know we'll have to crack the gray but we should be good on all else. Our trip just got cut down becuse of work on Monday and getting the stiches taken outa my Dog. We will be there on Tuesday Dec. 30th and stay till Saturday night or EARLY Sunday. For those amount of days we will be totally good. Just not sure yet about a 7 or 10 day trip. Probabally bring an extra 55 gallons of fresh.....

Group of 20 on plateau just east of ranger station from 27th to 30/31st. Lots of folks coming and going at different times but should be fun. Photo of my moho and rails. I am planning a run up pole line to Salton City Casino and another down to ocotillo to check out the wind caves. Lots of kids, newbies, and grandparents of this trip so we'll start off slow and see if they can hang. I'm so stressed at work I don't care if we just sit in camp, it will be better than being here! beer.gif beer.gif beer.gif 25cheers.gif 25cheers.gif 25cheers.gif

well, it is official..not going to ocotillo this new years...everyone decided to go to Razor Road/Afton canyon....knwn as the grand canyon of the mojave desert..this place is 100 miles north of Corona off the 15 freeway...there are sand dunes, huge sand wash/canyons, etc. A very beautimus place if you have never seen wild ram, wild burros, mallard ducks, and so forth...and yes..in the desert of so cal right outside Barstow..so if anyone wants to go..let me know. Our group is navy brass, cops, nurses, business owners, and blue collar workers..all good folks/families...do we like to party..hell yes...are we out of control drunks..NO..the wives are going..ha ha ha....respectful, family orientated peeps...
if anyone is gonna be out this way, let me know..it is always more mentally comfortable to know there are peeps who will help you if yo get in a jam. safety in numbers is my motto..nobody should camp alone......and there will be kids aged 11-1 yrs old...and everything in between...
