I prefer the oven.. facelick.gif

No really, I bought a free range turkey, just to try it out.. Found one over at "Sprouts", one of those elitist organic over priced grocery stores.

Truly, it sucked major donkey.. No flavor at all.. A bit tough too..

So I just had a little for dinner, and then I stuffed the rest into a baking dish, and viola, Turkey Pot Pie..

It was OK, lasted for three additional meals..

EFF that.

I'll stick to my Butterball, Thomas Farms or Tyson.

I like my Turkey pumped up full of chemical enhancements to MAXIMIZE its size and meat.

Turkeys are nasty looking birds anyways.

We put 1/4 squares of butter under the skin all over the bird.
Stuff it full of a Stuffing consisting of seasoned ground beef and Bacon.
Then cook it in an Oven Bag.

Meat falls off the bone....and the White meat is never dry.

Damm I love cooking a turkey.

You know what's funny is most people have no idea what "free range" consist of laughing.gif Here is just one example:

Many egg farmers sell their eggs as free range merely because their cages are two or three inches above average size, or because there is a window in the shed.

There is a lot more info on "free range" via the internet. Just my .02
