Any firewood vendors hang out at Gordons during the holiday?

We got firewood over thanksgiving...

7 dollars a bundle... ouch.

Thanksgiving they were there for $25 a wheel barrow. Last New Years they were there also. I heard there is a place in Yuma for $15 a wheel barrow, but I don't know any info about it.

the one in Yuma is off the the 4st exit then up to 8th street and take a right down a few miles on left, you will see wood all piled up in the front yard of two houses. They are always there day or night. I've knocked on their door for wood at 11 oclock at night.

If you know you're going to need wood, why in the hell would you buy it at the dunes? The bundles at Circle K (as big of a rip off as they are), are a total bargain compared to what you pay at the dunes.

Even better for wood in Yuma is "Yuma Palm Service". They're on 6th ave just north of 16th st. Stacks of wood on carts and wheelbarrows in the front yard and usually a truck with their name parked out front. Kind of hard to miss. (I'm 99% sure it's 6th ave...though there is a chance it could be on 7th....it's just a block or two from me either way.) The owner is a duner himself and will usually hook you up with more than you pay for if you tell him you're heading to the dunes.

I've bought a $20 wheelbarrow from him and gone home with a truckbed full more than once.

There is also a good place I found in Yuma. Turn on 3E of the freeway and head to 95 turn right and its about a mile down on the left only house out there. $60 and they filled my truck up to the top of the cab cut, split and help load. If ya want the number PM me. Great guys.
