I have a friend that needs to know what the best 250R pipe would be for her stock engine, not planning to do any engine mods.

Paul Turner seems to be pretty popular. I'm very happy with mine icon_wink.gif

thanks, MORE MORE MORE!

I have the Paul Turner hi-rev on mine, it hits very fast and hard. My brother has a FMF fatty and it has a real smooth powerband. I like both pipes, just depends on what you want.
TANK
lets say VERY strong but smooth powerband
SHOCKER
Yes those two pipes are probably the best

ESR makes some really nice pipes. I especially like the center mount with the billet mount they make.

LRD makes an adjustable pipe, it's very good. Problem is, you have to get their silencer or it wont mount on the quad.

Bills pipes are good too.

All pipes are good specially is your friend is not modifying the engine.

it really depends on what you want the pipe to do....low end...mid/top...rev or an all around pipe...
SHOCKER
Personally DG and procircuit I think are the worst on the market

I run one of the LRD adjustable pipes on my 250R (with a Answer silencer and it bolts up fine). I replaced my Paul Turner race pipe with this LRD pipe and noticed an increase. On a stock engine you probably wouldn't notice a difference between the two though. I vote for the Paul Turner race pipe as the best pipe for a stock or mostly stock 250R.
I agree with Mighty Shock-master that the DG's get a big fat thumbs down. I could SWEAR that I read in a magazine some time ago that the DG pipe made LESS power then the stock pipe. Can't remember what mag or what bike OR what year it was but I KNOW I read that. Maybe DG didnt' pay the Mag's enough $$$... Who knows.

I have a Kenny Roberts on mine and I love it. It's a mid to high end power band. But I think I'm going to change to the ESR ATC 5 pipe. Supposed to be a good all around power band. The TRX5 is the same and the TRX6 pipe is more of a top end MX pipe.
