That was(is) a nice car. Cory What are you thinking of next? Sounds like a SCU. I'm not sure you can top that orange one.

Thinking about a turbo Honda w/ S5s trans and a really sexy body. not sure if it's going to be to much weight though. I don't think I can live with out a windshield and heated seats! If its to much weight then I'll go with a LS3 440 stroker with a whipple blower and at least a fortin trans. but I would like to try a honda out.

I'm still dreaming!!!! the way the market is a used Racer will be in the $70's this summer, might just get a used deal!!

A body something like this AlumiCraft has:

Nice Car Cory! thumb.gif But that's one bad gluteous maximus AlumiCraft...

No offence but I'd rather have the AlumiCraft... Notworthy.gif

I hear ya, but Johns build time is deadly! I had a 2005 and loved it but my last SCU was honestly every bit as good! Is sweet Marilyn ever going to get traded in for a "younger model" ? Thats a great car!

My 2005 AlumiCraft:

My 2007 SCU ProBro:

Boy, John must have loved you when you built that Orange AlumiCraft... laughing.gif You both must have similar taste, because that's his favorite color!

John's build time is not that bad these days. Don't get me wrong though, he still seems to stay very busy... I guess if you attract a, let's just say, certain type of clientele, they always seem to want something newer than the car they just took delivery of? bugsy2.gif Sound familiar... poke.gif Just kidding!
I guess I'm one of those guys who, let's just say, is very content with what I have. rmiller.gif I feel very blessed, and it will be many years before I trade "Marilyn" in on a younger model. I really enjoyed the build, it was a Great experience, but also very expensive! That's not to say that I won't take "Marilyn" in for a few upgrades from time to time, but for now I'll run what I have.

Your New SCU sure looked good on the cover of SA Cory! I think I met you one time down at Gordon's when you owned your AlumiCraft. That was a beautiful car also!!!
