Hey Matt, that's for people who can't afford a turbo but want people to think they have one. LOL... My guess would be it's mostly the street rice grinder guys that would buy something like that.

I saw a website once that was dedicated to the idiots who "pretend" to build a street racer and add all sorts of stupid crap on their cars like fake wide exaust tips and racing stickers. It really lambasted them. I'll try to find it!

There's a guy driving around here with a car that looks like an old street rod. Has a huge fake engine up front. Looks kinda real though. I noticed the exhaust pipes sticking out right behind the rear wheels. As I looked closer I could tell that they were coming from the back of the car. Turns out it had a VW engine hidden back there. Still looks cool but sounds like ass.

Got one better than that! I saw a guy with a rollcage in his truck that looked kinda funny at first glance. Walked up to talk a closer look, he had built a roll cage with PVC pipe and fittings, painted it black and put roll cage padding on it. WHY WOULD YOU WASTE YOU TIME AND MONEY???

You havn't lived until you spend a day at the drags in Pamona watching a bunch of guys racing 16sec Imports. My personal favorite is the huge wing on the back of the car. I figured that if the idiots take the huge wing off, they might pick up a couple of tenths with their slow ass Pep Boy's racing POC

well i dont know anyone that made a rollcage outa pvc, but i know a few people that made em outa muffler tubing, now the only reason they were made outa muffer tubing(which wont support a dam thing) is to make it look legal enough to run at the track once in a while since the guys i hung around with we all street raced, a car with a cage meant it was a fast car casue you couldnt run at a track without a bar if you went in the 11's. well you got a bar in the you car, good luck getting a chump to race you on the street.
