i was at the dunes for 2 hours today, i was driving through to drop my trailer off for new years so i went for a ride... i went to test hill and the whole flat part is all taken away...

Wow... this is at the base of the hill (like in the center?) not to the East or West?

How much room is there from the base of the hill to the area that they're working in?

WOW, with only 13 days until the new year you definately want to make sure that you got your spot reserved. Next season, do you think that it is possible that I could drop my stuff off at Roadrunner on 10/1 and leave it out there till 4/30. That way nobody else can take my spot all season. I think that would be a great idea since the BLM is not charging or citing people for reserving spots.

Holy Cow, this could be interesting with the holidays coming up.

looks like patton valley will be our new comp hill

Last trip it looked like they were getting ready to grade it.
Did they grade all the way to the base of the hill.
I will miss my nights there.

That may be nice...

A lot of people will be scared to bring their trucks to Patton...

But...

That may also create a lot more incursions into the closure that is on both sides of the road into Patton.

I saw a ranger stuck going into patton during thanksgiving, long travel v8 rail stuck.

I was there New Years and there was still plenty of action at the hill. The modifications did not seen to stop to show. Some guys were even duning in the prepped canal area which was pretty funny to see.

I also went to test hill last week. Wow was it nice, no dust due to the watered down flat area. The hill seemed smaller to me though?

The graded area would make a nice place for dragracing.
