Time to replace the batteries in the trailer. Going to some cold weather in January and want to ensure I've got enough juice to run the heater all night. 12volt. Which brand do you suggest? Know any good places to pick some up?

Thanks,

Andy

If you can use 6 volts. do it. Check with Costco they always have good prices. I know there 6 volts are $75

x2 on the 6 volts... built to be deeply discharged and recharged ovr and over and over... i didnt even need to change my boxes, as the 6 volts were only like 1 inch taller than the orig 12v that came with my rig

the 6 v come highly recommended...easy to wire up too

I have 2 12v wired in series, would 2 6v in paralell due teh same job. I don't have room for any more than 2 batteries.

You have that switched around. You run the 12v in Paralell and the 6v in Series. Yes, the two 6 volts will have more power that the two 12's

the 6 volts have to be wired in series...if you have your 12v in series, your rockin 24v.

Do the two six volters. Way better than two twelves.

Here is some information for you. Go with the 6 volts if you can.

24v
Definetly go 6 volt. They are much better unless you get into the very large/very expensive true 12v deep cycles. Here is some good reading.
