I've got an '07 Warrior LE3505,
and the powercord compartment on the outside backs up against the cabinet under the sink.
The door on the powercord compartment is vented and a ton of dust and dirt gets in my cabinet under the sink
and all those drawers.
Does anyone else have the same issue?

I'm going to see if there is a fix for it this week.
Caddyman
Our 07 CR3905 is the same way as the LE and yes we do get dirt coming in under the sink.

I left mine open ONE time in Rocky Point, big mistake! I am not sure why it needs to be vented or why it is not sealed off from the rest of the cabinet better. Post your fix Robbie!

I found the same thing at the begining of the season. I cut a peice of ply wood to fit on top of the three sidesof the box, I stapled, glued, and caulked it in place. The Trailer is now the way it should have been from the factory. Fix took all of 5 minutes.

Thats one of the reasons I want to add a Park Power type setup. The other is I think its an area that will let water in- the door on mine is flimsy.

Park power

Only thing is, its effin expensive. I had the 30A ($99) on my old trailer, the 50A ($200) is twice as much. I've been cobbling together the same parts off EBAY. So far Im under $75. All I need is a cord to hack up and Im sealing that box up.

I've got the same problem. I'm probably going to put a piece of plywood up. I also think the compartment is to damn small. It's hard to bend a 50amp cord 20 times when it's cold outside.

Exactly.
I'm going to take a look at it today and see if there is any way to make the compartment bigger when I seal it up.

Use the stock factory cord, that's what I used. Just added the Park power Female plug on the cord end. It's a super sweet set-up now.

Yep thats the plan. But I want a smaller cord too. I never run anything except the fridge and charger when its stored. Im too lazy to drag that big mama jama around...

Ok, So I finally got around to it.
I cut a piece of plywood and screwed it on top, caulked it, and just to go the extra mile:

I cut my power cord down to 6 foot.
I also got a 25 foot 50 amp extension cord to keep in the other storage cabinet.
Trying to shove 25 foot of cord in that little box just wasn't happening.

Good job Robbie! I still have my parts in a box... Someday I'll get around to it...

Did you take any pics?
Robbie
