THE ART OF THE RACE!! As you roll up next to your friend, you hear him rev his engine, look over at you, and pop the clutch. THE RACE TO THE TOP IS ON...Racing the hill can be fun, but there are some unwritten rules to follow if you want to be king.

If you are a person who likes the excitement of racing, then racing Oldsmobile Hill on a big weekend (or any weekend) is for you, and here is how you do it:

#1. Find the group where your particular bike, quad, or buggy is running and jump in as the they line up.
#2. Come to a complete stop.
#3. Look at the guy to your left and make eye contact, then the guy to your right and make eye contact, rev your bike, and pop the clutch. IT IS ON!

Try to keep your bike straight through the woops, and don't let off the gas until you've almost reached the top. Turn around, give your buddies a thumbs up, and do it all over again. There is something to be said for being the King Of The Hill. Can you make that claim? GO FOR IT!!!

would a yzf 450 stand a chance??? icon_confused.gif
Slappy
Sure it would Twisted, but it depends on what yer runnin against. A fully built Banshee?...um...Slap don't think so. However, fellow 450's, 250's, Banshee's that aren't too built, etc...It's all about fun Twisted...But of course, it's always more fun to win icon_wink.gif ...

Hey Twisted, you should be able to beat even an Extremely modified shee.... just hope he mis-shifts, or stalls it:)

Helps to start out in 2nd, high rev and dump the clutch...hit 3rd before the whoops and hold on for the ride. Lean forward over the bars on the start or you're in for a flip.

you know what jsyi its ok to be like that to your fellow adaults because there in your owne age group but but then your doin it to kids it makes you no better than a bully! icon_mad.gif

WHEN IM RACING MY BAD ASS EX.... LOL I LIKE TO BE THE ONE TO START THE RACE. LIKE, DONT WAIT FOR THE OTHER DUDE TO GO, AS SOON AS YOU LOOK AT EACH OTHER, JUST GUN IT. AND IF YOU START TO LOSE THE Rs AT NEAR THE TOP (I DONT KNOW IF THIS HAPPENS TO THE FAST ONES) FEATHER THE CLUTCH AND SATY ON THE GAS, TO BUILD THE RPMs UP AGAIN. IM NOT THE BEST, BUT I BEAT MY DADS RAPTOR UP OLDS ALMOST EVERYTIME icon_smile.gif
