This thread seems dead. Does anyone even ride out there anymore?

Who was there and what happened?

Was it closed. does test hill even exist? were people shaken down for fireworks and cardboard?

The staging area (flats) have been constructed into a road. To run the hill you have about a 40 ft run at it. Sucks

we were there, it was killer, we duned a lot.

I was out at Buttercup this weekend, the dunes were awesome. They were smooth and pretty much empty, it was a great time.

Had tons of fun as usual. The dunes were tore up and rough!!! Lots of rain in the past few weeks and not alot of wind.
None the less, still had a blast.

Tons of fun. Mucho duning for are group.

Not to empty, not to crowded, I would say it was just right!

Best New Years trip ever. Not too crowded, not too rowdy. Overall the dunes were great and not over run with lots of huge groups. Great family trip!!

It was a great trip. The first part of the week was awesome, sunday, mon, tuesday. Flats were pretty empty, dunes were smooth... epic time. Wednesday, NY eve, started filling up, dunes started getting beat up and made it really rough. Thursday was even worse as far as how rough it was. We came home on friday morning.

BTW, sandcrew and lincster, pretty sure I saw you guys out running around. Sandcrew, I think I saw you at Patton Valley, and Lincster, I saw you in the dunes.

iT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND WITH MINIMAL GROUPS OF PEOPLE IN THE DUNES BUT TEST IS DEAD!
