Saturday afternoon Pipelayer and I were looking over at the dumpsters outside of the compound with a heavy heart. The dumpsters were full, people were stacking their garbage in front of, behind and on top of the dumpsters. Two forest service employees pulled up, got out of their vehicles, and stood by and watched while the trash truck driver did his best to get to the dumpsters he could. There was so much trash that in most cases, he couldn't get close enough to even pick up the dumpsters. I looked over at Russ, and said "since Hurly's sleeping why don't we spend the next 15 minutes or so and help the guy out?" Russ went and rounded up some troops, and off we all went.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to not only Pipelayer, but also gils'ltr (Devon), his friend Vic, Dunedoggie (Mike), and Tres for coming to help us. While we were there, a young couple came to throw away their trash from down in the washes. They also stayed to help. So thank you to Riverrat121783 and his girlfriend for seeing what we were doing and stepping up to the plate.

All in all, it took 8 people about 15 minutes to get every piece of trash in the dumpsters where it belongs. In that time there were at least 40-50 rigs who drove by and never stopped to help or even offer. Makes me wonder what those people will do when the dumpsters are gone on February 1st?

Proud to call Russ and Steph family. Stuff like this is typical for them, biz as usual.

It's not Russ and I that I think are the heros. We watched and said we needed to do something. It was all the other people who gladly gave of their time to help us out. Russ and I couldn't have done it all without their help.

They will just leave it anywhere and everywhere..this will give the BLM one more reason to keep the closures and to possibly close more. Hauled it in? Haul it out!

when i left on sat i saw the trash dumpsters were full. so i got out and tied down my bag of trash and took it home, while other peeps just tossed their chit on the ground.

Great job guys! It's unbelievable that people are so lazy that they can't look for a dumpster with room in it so they just throw their bags on the ground.

I drove by the dumpsters earlier in the week, and saw how full they were then. We just packed our trash home with us.

My hat goes of to all of you.., What a great thing you did..

That is always something that has bugged me. You'll see all these rigs stop at the first few dumpsters that are full and pile their poop on top instead of pulling up a few more feet and using the last 3 dumpsters that are practically empty. Just plain retarded.

oh yea and good job guys, when we stay at the pound and take trash to the dumpsters Cereal Killer and I allways will toss any trash into a dumpster that the Lazy ones toss to the side, and when we head home Its just easyer to take the trash home
