If you have a turbo car, with straight exhaust after, can you get ticketed for not having a spark arrestor at ISDRA?
I have heard the argument both ways: yes it is a spark arrestor and no it's not. Just want to be sure with the high level of enforcement that seems to be going on these days, thanks.

I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for sandrails that don't have spark arrestors when turboed. I would assume a Leo could issue a ticket if he wanted to nail you for a variety of reasons, there are likely many nit picky things in the book. Some of those guys can be real jerks, others are good joes. I doubt you'd ever have a problem at Glamis specifically for no arrestor on a turbo car, unless you tick off a Leo.

Show the Leo your wastegate and tell him that's your arrestor...
Bet 99% of them would buy it...

So I'll need to carry a plumbing diagram for my turbo system. Yeah a LEO will understand that
