Does anyone else see the problem here?

So do you have to keep the document with you as well as the plate registration?

I have tried to get my stickers for my quads and rail but the service arizona site keeps telling me "Can't find record". It can find my street legal rhino but none of my RV plates. Looks like I'll be going to DMV?

Make sure you include the "rv" or "mc" part of the plate. I had the same problem when I tried to get my sticker. Then I got out my old paperwork and saw that my license plate was officially recorded as XXXXRV and not XXXX
Still can't figure out where the sticker is supposed to go though.

Yes, like any other registration it needs to be kept with the vehicle.

Click to view attachmentMaybe i'm reading it wrong, but, "Tab instructions do not apply, they are for registration purposes only".

Middle of the page there are the words... "Instructions Below Do Not Apply"...
Wait... what in the world! I think the AZ government that made this sheet was hungover and the supervisor that approved it didn't care cause they partied together!

According to the highlighted box, mid page, left side, this is an "Off-Highway Vehicle Decal" and goes in the upper left side of your plate. If you keep reading the same box it states the "Tab instructions" do not apply to your application.

Typical government form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to know you can get them online, I got a ticket last weekend (that I deserved) but while waiting for the ticket we were talking to the leo and he said last weekend was it for us AZ people, no more tolerance, so if your heading out this weekend I would go get a sticker ASAP!!

Funny, BLM has said the grace period is for the season.
Not that the officers in the field very often seem to know what policy actually is from the BLM. Especially on bigger weekends when they bring in the "reinforcements" and give them barely a pep-talk.
Good catch on the "instructions do not apply" bit guys! I figured it was a case of just using the existing form but changing the rules...but missed the "do not apply" bit.
Still seems odd to have both "UPPER RIGHT" and "UPPER LEFT" in bold on the document. I expect it will lead to quite a bit of confusion.

just be glad it is not california or every other leo would pull you over because they didnt read all the form. Then they would tell you where they think it should be and give you a ticket based on their opinion
Jason
here is the way I see the problem.
You read the instructions and then look at the picture....
Then start over thinking the reading part of your brain with the picture part of your brain.
I just got my tags and did the very same thing.
Left it is....Off we go to find a clean dry surface.
Can we hang the plate upside down in protest of the newest luxury tax?

Took about the same time as my vehicle registration for me here in Yuma. Ordered from servicearizona.com on Sunday night and had it in my mail box the following wednesday.

Good Morning, as a goverment employee, I can resolve the issue...buy two stickers and place one in the upper left corner and one in the upper right corner, we will change this shortly and you will be required to place the sticker in the lower left corner unless you live in Flagstaff, then you will be required to place the lower right corner. You are not required to place the sticker on the tag if this is rated as a street legal/off-road vehicle unless the vehicle is yellow, red or some other color, unless you plan on operating the vehicle.
I hope this clears up the Az tag issue, if not please call your local goverment and press #1 for Spanish.
This Guvment employee will be at the Gecko loop, under the Oklahoma flag, the week prior to Prez day....stop by and say Hi.

I saw that on my paperwork and was like WTF? I stuck the sticker over the "year" spot on the RV plate that also came with the registration (upper RIGHT on the RV plate). I did not want a rookie to think my sticker was missing if I put it anywhere else on the plate and the "year" spot was still exposed.

Unfortunately what you did is apparently wrong. The OHV sticker is supposed to be on the upper left. So you may have just shot yourself in the foot and now get hassled about the sticker being on the wrong side even though you put it where logic and the image on the form would indicate it should go.

Yes, but I was talking about the California temp LEOs. The sticker is on the plate. It is not covering up any letters or numbers of the plate. Are they
really going to give me a ticket because my sticker is 5" away from it's new designated spot vs the old spot as shown on the plate itself? We will see. Be at Glamis this weekend to find out...

Just got back from DMV for motorcycle plate and sticker and they confirmed it is the upper left. I asked about the paper and they said it was because they were pre printed wrong and didn't want to have the expense of re doing all the papers and stickers.
