If you have questions you should call Jared at Monaghans 661-823-0733
He has maps of the course also, however they do a great job of marking the trails the weekends prior to the run..
Usually everyone just rides there and stays at Buffalo Bills. The rooms are only $42 a night with the discount code.
From what I understand ther will be a couple of magazine editors running on this one also and possibly Blake from Rhino Mayhem may be shooting vid for Rhino Mahem 3..

There is a pretty good mix of Quads - Bikes and UTV's that will be running..

The ride was great. The people were great. Thanks to Monaghan Motorsports and thier sponsors for putting on such a great event. The BB-Q lunch in Yermo was damn good.

The course could have been marked better but the dust off in the horizon told you where to go. At the riders meeting they said thier were only two wash outs to look out for, that was wrong, there are an (_|_) load of marks I put on my GPS. Our Rhino had zero issues the whole day so I was stoked.

I came across a quad that missed the stop at Four Corners and ran out of gas 3mi from Yermo, a Ranger with two guys replacing a belt and a pack of dirt bikes that a rider went down hard in a fast rocky section. Turned out that he was OK.

All in all the wife and I had a blast and can't wait for the November ride.

Yermo gas station

Me stuffing my face.

Sorry for your luck Phatcat. What happened?

Driving to Baker.

Some of the roads were too long, too flat and too straight. I need to change my gearing for the next ride. 71mph

Were all the gas stops at gas stations? Was there a place to store your ATV for the night in a safe, guarded location if you needed to? I really wanted to do it but couldn't, want to next year.

The first two stops, 4 corners and Yermo have gas stations. The third stop is 7mi off the 15fwy in Baker, so no gas. You can give your gas to Monaghan Motorsports at the drivers meeting and they will take it to Baker for you.

I had someone chase for me so they carried my gas and picked me up at Stateline. They had a bus parking lot for everybody to park their rigs for the night with security guards on duty.

The next one is in November. I will be there.
UTV Mayhem

Thanks for the info QC, I gotta get myself an XR650 for rides like that one, my thumb would probably turn to stone on a ride like that on my quad. LOL
Great pics and good report. Thanks again!

I just got home. Had a great time. I rode it on a XR400. It came out to be 200 miles to the back of Whisky petes. They had a great turn out. There were still people coming in at dark last night. I watched 6 guys take off this morning and ride it back home. All 3 Casino's were booked for saturday night. I thought the coarse was marked decent. There were 4 paved road crossings that were not marked. That could have go ugly if someone got hit.
