Buttercups where we will be. Isn't Pattons on the North East side? It would be a hell of a trip for me.

If you were to go down the drags at Gordons and just keep going.... down about 4 valleys, that's where it's at.
I never been to buttercup. You guys can cross right at the cafe at Gordons right?
Be an adventure but not too long of a ride.

A trip to patton from buttercup is about a 30 min run . pretty easy to find and definetly makes for a nice ride . like it was said just cross over the freeway , hit the drags down sand highway you will get to the closure stakes on your right ,right after that there is a break in the stakes to allow for east/west travel go right and it is a couple of miles east on your left cant miss it , very easy run . tim

sandhighway runs from the drags at gordons well to geckd rd .basically between the canal to the west and the closure to the east . tim

If you have a rail and haven't been to Gordon's you should. Way better dunes for a buggy that buttercup. Give it a try.

I guess I have kind of outgrown my group. EVerybody is still riding dirtbikes and quads. Totally agree on the dunes North of the 8. Butttercup is a little tight for 5th gear pinned through bowls but I always have a blast.

i will be in gordons with a big group if you want to stop by.

will be heading out thursday with aroung six buggys. look for the SAND DAWGZ flags. I will be flying a US Army flag too

Legit duner and i are thinking of making a run to glamis with some freinds from gordons on saturday. Any takers?

We will be rolling in late Sat first time would love a tour of the dunes have radios and lots of gas.
we are staying at Olgilby with some guys we know.
Not sure where anything is but have gps to find it all.

ENded up on the Gordons side and had a blast. Going to try and keep the group from going back to B-cup it was so much fun.

HELL YA...It was an awesome weekend....Legit was M.I.A...LOL..Too bad it was raining like crazy when I got back to San Diego...pics and video of the drags will be posted in a couple of days...Next trip in 3 weeks

I pissed my wife off

Long story..
4 days of getting ready, glued to the weather for updates and at 4am saturday morning I get into bed and tell the wife we are indeed going and wake me up at 8am.
She woke me up alright... Told me we need to clean the house and finish up some tax ch!t before we go.. I got pissed and the rest is history..

Heard it was an epic weekend,glad you all had fun.
