Well my lady is hooked... i took her down to the cycle shop to do a little shoppin for her brother... and she started pokin around and jumpin on diff quads... now it looks like im definatly going to be building a raptor... she musta sat on a dozen diffrent bikes and the raptor was the most comftorble for her... sooo... thats what she be gettin.. EVENTUALLY...

nice choice. you'll love the power of that bike too. the only thing is i dont like the way the carbs are set up. way tooo much electronic stuff around them and have to pull the bike apart just to tinker with them.

why dont you just buy a new one might save you some money instead of building it.

i have your lights i have owed you for the longest time i just need to get out to the desert to drop them off. nice 50 watt lights. my cousin has them at his house down there.

tell yer cuzin ill swing by and pick em up... lol... if thats cool with him... Actually i have been thinking about building vs buying... you can buy a used raptor for 3-4k and drop another 1-2k in motor and suspension work... when i can build a bike the way i want it with the suspension done while im building it and save on the inital cost... along with the motor work... just get the motor send it to the shop have the work done to it then put it in... it will prolly be around 3-4k to get the bike done anyways but at least it will already be modded out... Plus if she doesnt like riding it... then it becomes mine... just because its comfy doesnt mean she will like riding it.. icon_biggrin.gif new bike for me... lol... at that point ill prolly sell both the bike and quad and buy a rail...

So does this mean you do want the frame?

icon_bigcry.gif how long do you plan on keeping them... are they actively on the market cuz i would take all that stuff off yer hands... bad part is im in the process of transistioning jobs and dont quite know how things are flowin yet... I will definatley keep you in mind when i hit that part of the build...
Screamin Ian
sorry if I misled you, I just put those parts on, and until I get a full suspension sandrail, (hopefully in about a year) I am keeping it. I just wanted to let you know how it handled when you got to that point, sorry if you took it the wrong way, didnt mean to tease you like that. icon_surprised.gif
