Hey guys,

I got an 03 Suzuki LTZ400 in Oct 03 Since then I have made some mods to it like:

I changed the Bars to a higher\ wider set of renthals, added the slip on Yoshamura pipe, threw a K&N filter on it, re-jetted the carb jets, and went with a
-1 front sprocket. With all of that said I am VERY happy with all the mods thus far and the bike walks away from most of the 400's I run across up the hills. I am in the process of swapping out the front end with a new set of +2+1 Lonestar A arms and shocks.

My question for you is:

Can I swap out my reverse gear and somehow swap it out for a 6th forward gear?
Am I dreaming or is it possible?

The a-arms, do not and I mean DO NOT go +1 forward, it will mess up the geometry of the steering, you can go +2 out but dont go +1 forward,

what diference did you notice with that -1 sprocket, im talking about duning and aceleration and top speed?

I'll srtaight up walk away from most 400's up any hill. I'm climbing Olds in 3rd gear pinned and sometimes 4th. Off the line it's FAST. really easy to pull and ride wheelies. I have dropped a good chunk of top speed but, in the dunes when the heck are you ever going 5th gear pinned?

Cool, im not sure if we will go this weekend because my dad has to repair my grandmas' alternator on her truck, but if we dont go this weekend it will definently be that weekend

I dropped one on the front AND added 2 to the rear.. Now I just keep it in 3rd and 4th while duning. Total blast and tons of torque.
Top speed on GPS is mid 50s.

Wow, you did lose alot of top speed, im not changing my gears, I use my top speed at superstition
