Good luck with the build, please post pictures of your progress.
My summer project was assembling my new SCU, I tell you what it was a lot of late nights and more then a few tools thrown across my garage, and you do find out who yours friends are.
After 5 weekends in a row my buddy was at my house helping me, I thought his wife

was going to kill me and divorce him.
All in all I had a good time building it and would do it again.

Nice engine, it will make some good torque down low. I had the same C/I in my Camaro and it hauled the mail. What Trans did you go with?
SCU duner
Mar 12 2009, 06:25 PM
i went with the s4s i know everybody has there mind made up that this trans wont hold up. i sold my last car with a 2d 934s and 35.5 tires i am the easiest person with a trans no dumping or side stepping it. if it doesnt want to wheelie i wont make it.i just found out how many an fittings i have to buy to plumb it and all i can say is wow

here are the latest pics all fuel and dry sump plumbing done.started to wire this weekend. i was hoping to have it running already but the better half added all the credit card receipts before i could make one last trip to the parts store.she cooled down a little and told me to just finish it but i owe her big time. so knock on wood it will be running this weekend and try to go out for easter.im tring to figure out how high i want the intercooler .i like were its at in the pic but am thinking that it might be better like 3 inchs higher so it level with the rad shroud
