Car will be at Speedworld Sunday for the Nostalgia Drags and its maiden voyage down the strip. Just talked to my dad and now that the motor is broke in he leaned her down a bit and played with the timing and gained about 60 rwhp on the dyno. Sunday I will post the time it ran and let you guys guess what the rwhp number was on the MUSTANG dyno. icon_cool.gif

He did 8 passes today. Most runs were in the 11.80s and his best two were 11.72 and 11.74 at 116 mph. Made 401 rwhp on the Mustang dyno. He did not have the line lock hooked up and was not getting the tires hot enough and it had some wheel spin off the line. So probably will pickup a tenth or two once he does that. It was great to see him having fun. Not too bad for a pump gas/ 4.10 geared probably 3500 lb car. Works great on the street and is very drivable. Just the way he wants to keep it. He could probably put on a shorter tire or lower set of gears, race gas with more timing, and tweak things and my guess would be low 11s. It also sounds like those rear springs could be set up to work a lot better for more bite.

Very nice meeting you. You were right his best passes were with 14psi in the rears. He needs that line lock to get some heat!!

DANG,

I forgot all about it. I wanted to head over there and watch Chuck make a few passes.

That car is sweet!

I show the car should weigh somewhere around 3650lbs for the speed and mph and rear wheel hp.

I bet he had a blast!!! 1dude.gif
