Also these are from my camera which obviously are not the quality of my brother in laws camera. This is a Sony Mavica that is probably 10 years old. A 3 1/2 floppy plugs in so I have to leave the setting low because a disc is only 1.44 megabytes
Relays will be in the glove box area. No radio. It will get the factory delete plate in place of the radio.

The old test stand that has been around quite a while. He will run the engine here before it goes in the car. Crank and rods should be here next week and it will go into the machine shop. I will try get by there when they are doing all of the machining.

Donor car for all the little hard to find bolts, hardware, trim, etc, etc, etc. This car will get sold when he is done scavaging(sp?) Apparantly the two doors are now so rare to find, guys are taking a 4 door, moving the b pillar back and installing the longer doors from a two door. (If you can find doors) The length is the same on a 4 or 2 door.
That would make a nice altered wheelbase car. Leave the front doors where they are.

First preassembly and machine work. He has to wait on the valve train or else the motor could be done in a very short time. Cant go to far without checking piston to valve clearance.

Sorry to say...but my only gripe as well. I would've loved to seen some halibrand mag's, E-T III's, or even torque thrust d's on there instead.
Amazingly beautiful car!!!

I ran Cragars on most of my builds in the '60s and '70s.
Clearly the Torqthrusts were much more typical on the race cars then, but there were wheels used that usually were considered a "dress wheel" by the public. For example, Dick Landy often ran Cragars, and Sox & Martin ran Keystones on everything.
...and there is something to be said for being "non-generic". :-)

He has been driving it all over the place and to some of the car shows and get togethers. I believe in two or three weeks he may run it at the nostalgia drags. He just bought a 31 chevy this week to build. Very rare. I guess only about 2500 built. All of the framing inside the car is wood! He was going to run an old hemi but it is so wide he may do a 303 buick motor in it. I will have to start a new thread on this build.
