I am probably mistaken but I heard there are three r&p's for a 2d.
USGear, Weddle, Kliengburg (spelling?)
Is this true? Which do you guys recommend, and sell with your gearbox? Is one better then the other, and if so why?

i am pretty sure the klinenberg and weddle are the same , i did my 2d right before i sold it , the klinenberg i believe is the cut of the gears . the weddle is more than the std r&p but i think it is well worth it .jmho . tim

There are three ring and pinions available for the 2D we are currently out of one and may not get it back in. The other two are both Klingenberger Palloid, or Palloid for short, one is made by us and the other is made by Weddle. The tooth form by its design provides a longer tooth and a larger pinion head. Our Palloid comes in only the 5.14 ratio but with the gearing weddle makes that is adequate. The Weddle is available in other ratios to suit different needs. We have optimized the design on our R&P to give us a larger root diameter as well as the larger pinion head also the tooth on our ring and pinion is a little longer providing extra load surface. I will get some pictures to post up!
