The next Desert Advisory Council (DAC) meeting will be March 20-21 in Barstow.
There will be a tour of the Johnson Valley area on Friday and the formal DAC meeting will be on Saturday.
One topic of interest to the dune users will be the reorganization of the current Technical Review Teams (TRT). The TRT’s for both the ISDRA and Dumont are being reorganized. The details will be presented at the DAC meeting and the public is invited to submit comments on the new structure of these groups.

ECFO is looking into raising fees for next season to cover operating costs. The 2003 Business Plan is being revised in house and will be used to determine how much to raise ISDRA fees for the 2009/2010 season. ECFO is planning on presenting to the RRAC in May.

This was taken from the El Centro field managers report, looks like they are wanting to raise our user fee's again. I for one, don't agree with an increase in fee's. What can we do as a group to let them know we don't want to see our fee's raised?
