We just arrived for a weekend of spring training. Give me your restaurant recommendations that are different from the everday. Something in the Tempe, ASU, Scottsdale area. Thanks.

Breakfast US Egg on Baseline and Mill, Happy Hour /dinner Macyo's Depot Cantina. and for a little out of the way bar that has great food prepraired by a real Cheff try Mac's on Quadalupe and Mclintock it's next to the bread company on the south west corner. As for Scottsdale I would recomend Kyoto's on Stetson for japanese but I am not sure if it's there anymore. Also Rustlers Roost above the point south mountain is good. And if your brave enough to eat real hot wings not that crap they serve in Cali try any of the Long Wong or Native New Yorkers

If you like HOT mexican food, go to Dos Los Molinos on Alma School and Broadway in Tempe/Mesa area.

We went there a couple of times and made a trip there with MichaelAZ when Rubs was in town. Good food.....but HOTTER THAN HELL! blink.gif

I'll second Kelster's suggestion but you may want to look for a sign that says "Los Dos Molinos" icon_biggrin.gif

My favorite lunch place is called El Pollo Supremo in Tempe. It is on University two blocks west of Mill. They only have chicken or beef fajitas, but they are the best. Cash only.
