How much HP is lost through a 4e transmission?
Does anyone have an idea???? maybe a percentage number????

You are right; generally the parasitic loss through a manual driveline is any where from 20-25%.
The proper way of knowing would be to dyno the engine, and then install the engine in the platform you will be using then dyno the chassis.
Then determine the loss with that set up.
Thanks. The motor is already in the car. Just wanted to get an idea on what you estimate the loss to be.
