I have a 02 raptor and thinking about geting extended a-arms. What do you think is the best setup +2+1 or +2 or +3+1 or +3, also where is the best place to get them.
thanks for the help

I know on my Z400 if ya go +1 forward it will mess up the steering geometry so dont go forward,
go with +3 +0 or +2 +0, burgard makes some nice arms, and a good price, thats what I got and they are great

It depends on where you ride.
+2 should be enough for just about any type of terrain.
If you do motorX, +2+1 or even +3+1.
I have +2+1 on my 02 raptor, and it works excellent.

90% of my riding is at the dunes.
Another question, how important is camber & caster ajustment?

I went +2+1 on my raptor, along with ITP rims and sand star tires, I also went +4 rear axel, absolutely loved it, I got the Alba pro comp kit, comes with a-arms, bushings, tie rods, brake lines, works triple rate shocks (I upgraded to res.). it handles great, put it all on myself, then looked at the quad, didnt realize the back was so narrow after the a-arms went on, so back to Alba for the DuraBlue +4 axel, it was all fairly easy to install if you pay attention to what you are doing,
my last mod was a +4 swingarm, I love that as well, the bike is perfect now, it just hugs the sand, and handles like a dream.

Camber and caster adjustments are good to have if you can spend the extra bucks. You can play with camber and caster depending on the terrain you are riding. Most of us never touch those adjustments.
Also, if you ever bent the front of the frame, these adjustments may come handy.
I also have an extended axle to compensate for the extension on the fronts.

If ya go to z400central.com there is a link toa burgard website and they make some really nice arms with all the adjustments, and they are alot less than oher arms that suck and have nothing, go with burgard, the caster and camber and toe all are needed, it all affects your turning

I have the +2 +1forward alba procomps and love them, the cool part is the camber is built right into the arm.
