Full Version: Can I Run Race Gas In My 70?

I have some left over from the season and was wondering if I put it in the tank for the monthly start up and let run to keep everything happy, will it ruin anything?

I ask because over the season I bought a couple of the 55 gal plastic hand pumps to gas up the car and the race gas was hard on the plastic, to the point they would last 1 weekend and then start leaking.

I just don't want to ruin anything on the 70, hose lines, etc.

I figure it's better than putting it in my truck.

No you can't. It will mess up your motor. Give all your race gas to your friend Glamisbound and he will dispose of it for you...
