Thanks everyone, it was an awesome weekend. I do wish I could remember friday night, maybe I should have passed on a few of the beers people offered me. I hope I wasn't too big of an azz, also glad I didn't fall asleep by the fire with madweasle for a photo. laughing.gif KenK, Joes right that pic is the best of the bunch, I'd frame that one.

Think KenK should change his name to D.K. "Drift King"

hello.gif
if you know how to use em they are the best in my opinion. but thats mine and I know nothing. I actually borrowed the front mohawks for the epo in november and bought haulers in august after borrowing some from PDR to try. I will never run anything else. sand stars are heavy and I love the forward bite of a hauler. let off the throttle just a tad to let the front end drop just enough to get a good bite for the front wheels to hook, turn power... smile.gif I just wonder if i was there, would I have enough to take the FOG.... Funny, I was trying to pick up a pair of haulers for the EPO, my gliders spin to much out of the turns (great for duning they don't throw the sand). Also ordered a larger rear sprocket that did not show in time. I knew my acceleration was a disadvantage and tired to fix it...just too busy at work to put the time in and fix before the EPO. Spinning mass is huge and the haulers have it, much less weight. lol Hence in my opinion, what the heck do we know?
The_Fog
Just so you know, I was running 20 year old 10 paddle gliders.
Esco
nice job clap1.gif sorry if I woke you up to early friday

I have read many times in the Quad section that haulers are only
good for going in a straight line. And that you need V-cut paddles
for turning. Can't wait until that topic comes up again!

Not a chance bro. Clay was at the top of his game.

headbang.gif

And it totaly depends on how you set those haulers up! wide rims that flaten the tire out, make them a lot easier to slide thru a turn. sampler has his paddles cut down!!!
TroyKrum
Great event... It was a wonderful day and some great racing! The staffers did an amazing job getting the event underway and keeping it running smooth.

The Fog and Jake the Rake woke up in the zone and ready to kick some arses... they were ready without any doubts and rode that difficult track like it was a straight line!

Bottomeline - this was the best of the best - top 10 of 3 races. The track was set perfect (hard and difficult) for the group that was racing! Can't wait to do some duning with these fine folks!

Chum - Some great shots, yet again! clap1.gif
