My buddies and I have talked about maybe making one more trip out and roughing it if we see a break in the weather. If we decide to do it I will PM you.

Nevermind. Just talked to Raspadoo and he says I will have to spray my buggy with WD-40 before AND after and my buggy will STILL get rusty.

Have to come up with a plan B......

Agreed, don't take the car to Pismo.

My buddy just picked up a Buckshot a few weeks ago with only 5 hours on it and had some 'break in' issues on his first trip and only drove the car for about 2 hours. All of that should be resolved so the two of us are going to G this weekend. I bought a second A/C unit for my WW (works great). Our plan is to fire the motors in the a.m. at sunrise (65-70 degrees) and run for up to 2 hours. By the time we're done it will be 8-9 am and nearing 90 degrees. We'll hunker down in the trailers and/or get in the canal.

Not sure if it will cool off enough for a dusk run and not sure if we'll do more than 2 (Sat. and Sun.) a.m. runs., but if it's working we might stay until Monday.

I'm thinking we'll either camp at the canal or pad 4.

Any other rails going with that plan?
