get a race cut done on trans (type of back cut) by R&D. Scott at Heads Up can get you in touch w/ them, they are the best at the trans work...

Check some of your local Dirt tracks Mini Sprint Clubs and see where they are taking there stuff to. A buddy of mine is into them big time here in Az. and they are doing crazy things to there mini sprints engines.

Take the motor out yourself...its easy and takes all of 2 hours. Take it to scott and get back cut gears put in it. I did the same thing to mine. Give me a call if you want more info...you have my #!

I tried calling Heads Up and their phone is down...

Has anyone ever used Crago Racing in Van Nuys?

http://www.cragoracing.com/

I called Hayabusa Zone and they recommended these guys. I called them up and a guy named Jeff helped me out and answered all my questions. He was a very friendly guy. Anyway, he quoted me approximately $1,500-$1,800 for a rebuild. I asked about upgrading the engine, and: back-cut gears, a cam, an upgraded input shaft, billet clutch basket with stronger clutch, porting and upgraded valves is approximately $4,300. They will take the engine out and put it back in while doing the work for an additional $350.

I think I ended up paying around 1000 for undercut gears and some other parts that Scott at heads up thought I needed. Great guy to work with. 350 to pull and replace the motor is a deal. (I think)
Ill have to check these guys out next year when Ill be ready for more HP. Thanks for the info. Are you going to get these upgrades done?

If I don't find a good buyer for my rail I may. It depends on whether or not I get the job I interviewed for today!
