Slap check this out.. Now mind you i'm not one to enjoy critters that can sting but this guy just wanted to chill in the shade with me while the guys were fishing.. Not sure why, but I took a couple pics, seeing it on the computer I was fascinated with the detail in the wings.. Hope you like this shot

I cropped it hope it shows the detail better... It just looks like it has joints inside it's wing structure

This is my favorite....tried to send a pic of it to Nike.

I call it the Nike "swoosh" moth... he was a pretty big guy, came around 2 years in a row, like to hang out by the front porch light.

We use to see those, or something like them at the river every year. The locals called them cowkillers dunno.gif

Those are some cool shots. I came across a "Racer" snake today at work, well I think it was a racer; a black head and red body and real long. And when it took off, it was bookin.

And I also came across a gopher snake in the road today that I thought was alive, but turned out to be dead. We've had a few rattlesnake sightings around the meter boxes the last few months also. It's getting good for sure. I need to bring my camera now when I'm out in the backwoods.
