We speed through life, looking for an answer, and most of the time we don't even know the question. We rush to find something, and we know it's just around the next corner, yet all we find is another turn when we get there.

There will soon come a time when it's not about you anymore. A person, maybe a stranger, will stop you in your tracks; their story--however small--will humble you, and you didn't even expect it. All that person needed was someone to listen.

Will you be the person who stops and listens? Let's hope so.

I do best listening to my friends and family..


It's easier to give support than to ask for it, so when you have someone that needs a safe place to leave the things that hurt listen carefully. You may never understand how difficult it is for that friend to actually open up and let the words out that are so difficult to speak...

Hey Slap, I had a situation that made me think of this Slappy Thought. I had an interaction with someone and it hit home and opened my eyes. It was humbling to say the least. And since then, I have been working on writing a song about it; the feelings I had when it happened, and my thoughts since then. Well, I finished lyrics last night, and I am happy to say that me and the rest of the Dune Squad put music to the lyrics for the first time today. I am very proud of it. And, we are looking to go into the studio sometime this summer to record DuneSquad III. Thanks for the inspiration STick-Of-All-Sticks.
