"Buffy," is a really beautiful 2 y/o female Pointer mix who lives in Sun City West, needs to be placed in either a new forever home or in a foster situation as soon as possible. Her former owner passed away recently, and the family is from out of state and cannot keep her. They contacted me through the woman I got Micah from, and I have agreed to help get her placed before they have to leave this Friday.

She looks to be mostly Pointer, coat is black/white, of typical pointer patterning, short haired. Is definitely up to date on shots as of October 2008, very well cared for, 40 lbs, housebroken, crate trained-her owner would say "crate" and she'd go in. Knows knows basic commands, good with kids - among them my elementary school aged nephew. Likes some dogs, others not; Cats are untried. Normal barking, in no way excessive or annoying.

Her bowls, leashes, food, etc can go with her. Appears her deceased owner had her on Kirkland (Costco) canned food, some Trader Joe's canned food, and Kirkland kibble. Much of that kibble is in an unopened 20 pound bag.

The first choice obviously is to find a new home, but given the short time frame, a foster situation may be more likely. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
