I don't get involved in these Duner of the Month things but this thread really speaks to me.
In the off season, people get Duner of the Month for throwing a party or being the winner of some popularity contest. Not to take away from those that open their homes or organize a fun event, but I challenge you all to read this thread. This is the best example that I can think of regarding what our Sand Loving Community is all about.

I have never met this guy but his obvious devotion to the sport, Glamis, and fellow dune lovers is one of the best examples I have seen in a long time. Living out near the dunes, he and his family could easily be turned off by all the misfits and poor examples of life that Glamis gets passing by his home every weekend, still he take the time to help strangers in their time of need and still love the sport.
"Just Dune It" is the truly the best choice for Duner of the Month for June 2009.

Is there any regulations on what qualifies a "Duner of the Month"?
Originally I thought it would have to be something dune related, but I've seen some not so dune related. And not to say those peeps aren't cool and really awesome too. I usually vote for who I feel did something in the dunes or directly related to the dunes - like fixing SandRaptors bike for instance. It wasn't in the dunes but it was so he could have something ride out there.

I agree...dunner of the month should be dunners helping other dunners.....
