Well, I'm not sure if my new 330pv will be done in time for my trip to the cinders here in AZ next weekend, so I'm looking at renting one of these two bikes. Ive ridden the 660 raptors and yami/honda 450's so those are out..

Any opinions which will be more fun?? Thanks!

Does a place rent those 2 units?!?!?!
yummi
Raptor. Good useable power if you don't ride often = more fun for a rental unit.

the rappy will be more plush and isnt cinders with trees? not as wide, has higher ground clearance.
Sand Raptor
i love the raptors.. Lots of torque.
The Dude
I think im going to try the LTR.. rappy's always felt too top heavy for me (660's). plus, Since im the only non yami rider in my group, I have to save face lol!

well with that said i now say u need to try the RAPTOR 700R to show u how much better in every way it is over the 660r! the handling is like going from a ltz400 to a ltr450!
The Dude
Ok, i'm going with the rappy. It was just much more comfortable..
bockcrew
go with the raptor 80
Daveo
The raptor 700 is a great bike for cruising.. If you want to go fast take a cherry bomb and rent the ltr
lbz duner
Get the LTR and spend $15 for a cherry bomb, take the airbox lid off and take the spark arrestor out, and you'll have a fun machine.

burrow a set of duals and a pc3 from someone and hook it up to the rappy lol. its a rental quad for a couple days who cares lol
The Dude
This whole rental deal is kind of appealing. Sounds like the only way to lose you deposit is to seriously wreck the bike, "minor things are normal." Plus never having to do maintenance, always getting to use a freshly cleaned and up kept bike, you pick it up ready to roll, drop it off on empty and dirty.. Plus they give discounts to frequent users. All the bike needs is some bolt on goodies. hmm, maybe i could buy the exhaust for the bike instead of paying to rent it? lol. Seriously tho, I am never taking my 250R up to the cinders again!
The Dude
hidden tree stump v. a-arm
CHILI3
That sucks. Is that the rental bike?
The Dude
yea.. no deposit back
t b
rub some dirt on it next time. that sht'll buff pimp.gif
ps what did the lower arm cost ya?
The Dude
lol, i couldn't even pound it pack into shape with a rock! It was a pain to get back to camp with the wheels being perpendicular to each other...

lower arm is 120, tie rod is 30
GWTT
doh! ive done that!
