Just got my class A with tanker, double's trips, and haz endorsments. Starting to look for OTR or local positions, Figured I would see if anyone here needs a driver!

Good luck it's rough right now I was looking too since I have a class A with endorsments. I saw ads for $12 an hour and they wanted 2 years experience.

Been doing it for many years as an owner op. It is tough right now for a new driver. The freight is slow and most won't hire a new driver. Get some money, 10-12k, buy a truck, get your own authority, insurence and hit the load boards.

GO sign up at UPS and get in the part time rotation. Once you get a few months under your belt they will bring you on full-time

I know you hold endorsements, but before I got into the grocery industry I worked for Pepsi Cola. They hire a lot, its tough work but the pay is great and the benefits are there too. I quit during the strike in 95 to save my house and it was a step up into the grocery industry. I believe top pay at Pepsi should be close to $23.- $24. an hour?? So. Ca. grocery wages are at $25. an hour, people will always need to eat and drink soda. Go with a company that you will be safe in thru this bad economy. Good luck!!
