alot of people out there today, and alot of crashes. Had one 17 year old kid go down a couple turns ahead of me, he rung his bell pretty good. couldn't remember anything, not even who he was there with. I gotta give it to the people who run the track, they really maintain that track well throughout the day. watering it regularly and grooming it.

i went yesterday and it was hot. got there around noon and left when the gates were closing. there quad temp track has degrated significantly. they are supposed to have the true grand opening july 11th. with the main quad track to be ready. vendors are supposed to be there. big day. Ya going?

not sure if youre talkin to me or matt but nah man why would someone who rides a dirt bike go to a quad track opening.

i think you are far too skilled of a rider to be messing with those 4wheelers still. its for the wife or when youre 40...not a healthy young man. ive rode both and really believe once you start going fast like you do its much safer on a dirt bike than the quad.

i believe july 11th is the weekend of the night run. Otherwise i would go.

the dirt there is great tony, takes water well, and nice loam in the corners so you can rail pretty hard. the center of the track can get real slick when they water.

can't make thursdays but if you ever want to go on a weekend PM me, its hard to find people to ride with in the summer, and one of the few guys willing blew up his tranny yesterday.

ive heard from a few peeps that ride there, its gettin pretty busy....almost too busy? theyve been at pala for the last month and a half every weekend, decided they had enough and were goin to borona this past weekend for a change..

days are still pretty long could always hit the track after work. i would imagine the weekends would suck pretty bad

I go to pala every now and then. I have a invite only KTM test ride event happening June 12th and 13th. A Gal friend of mine who works at Applied is there all the time and races all over ( Christi Evers ) whom just married John Duffy. They have a sweet private track that I go to whenever I can.
Here is some shots of my kids on CRF 450s and my CR 500 that is usually my Glamis bike. This is the barn at Applied Track.
I spent this weekend riding all thru Pine Valley and Laguna and Monday up at Inkopah.

there is a 20$ year membership, but its worth it. comes with a tshirt, free day of riding on your bday and some other shwag as well. I really like the way they are doing this track.

very nice schwinn, i'll have to show you the "secret" trails at bear valley (pine valley), if your up for it. they are azz kickers!

I just put a deposit on a 09 KX450 today. Are you into riding Barona at all? That track is pretty fun as well

havent been to barona in 5 years or so, but willing to give it another try. my friend tyler rides there alot and so does my nephew, they both say its fun. i just remember it always being crowded

Just took the son riding there over the weekend , got there at 9:00 only a couple of bikes until noonish.

My CRFs are red sticker but my KTM 690 is a dualsport, We did In-Ko-Pah on monday, did all hard ways on the 690, made it but the 690 is heavy.

Its not like that anymore, and they also eliminated the ride 20 mins wait 60 mins deal.. I hated that! Now its pretty laid back and not very crowded. Should be picking my bike up tonight hopefully.. Stoked to start riding mx again, its been awhile.

But of course> Its a 690 SMC but you wouldnt know it. Traded the front end for a 450SX front end for it to make it a super enduro and swaps easier to supermoto. My 525 is the same way. I also own a ZX1200.

I hit Barona today for a couple of hours.. Man my MX skills are very rusty and i'm out of shape.. But still had fun.. Track was pretty good, nice and easy jumps with nothing to difficult or do or die..

it the one you can see on the north side of the freeway just east of the golden acorn casino, its a great, fun track, and everyone is welcome. new owner says he would love to have quads come out.
