To me that doesn't look like any mix, looks like a pb German Shepherd Dog. Tough to tell from the picture, but she has GSD written all over her.

I've never really been around shepherds but that's exactly what I was thinking too. Those markings and the big stand up ears she's got.

just an update..............she is still looking for a home, her ears are not standing up so much anymore? she is very polite and has already learned were the backdoor is for potty time and she will sit and loves to chew on bones and toys and sometimes tries to sneek off with a shoe! but we are breaking her of that real fast. SHe has been a pleasure to foster because she listens so well..
please call me 602 358 5894 if you can give her a home!!!

I still believe this little girl is a German Shepherd Dog. A little tip, because the GSD ears will go up and down often during the first 6 months, is if you are able feed her a couple of tables:robbie:s of yogurt a day. Or a cup a week. Doesn't matter the flavor, either.

To tell you the truth, I don't know. I've had GSD's all my life. On every web site, every breeder, owner will tell you the same thing, either a little yogurt, or cottage cheese. Somehow the ingredients in there strengthen the ligaments/muscles that make up their ears. Could be urban legend type stuff, but everyone says to do it. Most German Shepherd Dog ears will go up, and down during puppy months, especially during teething.

Yeah, mine too. It's weird some GSD's ears pop almost immediately, others can take upwards of 6 months. They say if they don't stand by 8 months, they are not going to. Most people get a GSD because of the ear thing, and I tell them all the time to feed them yogurt/cottage cheese when they are puppies. A GSD just doesn't look quite right if both ears aren't standing straight up.
