How long is your motorhome?
How long is your trailer? (when talking box, the name of it, 20' enclosed is really like 24', right? call out the size not accual size)
What is in your trailer? (long travel buggy? Long travel buggy and quad? Buggy and two kids quads? rollaway tool chest? Fuel drums?)
Thanks for the input guys.

Do any of you overlength people who go to dunes outside of California have any trouble getting back into California (at the inspection stations just inside ca boarder)? Even the one at Dumont concerns me. As you can tell I am over length as well. Something I realized the hard way is that a 40 motorhome does not measure 40' my 40 footer actually measures 41' plus the reciever makes it more like 42'. My stacker trailer that I ordered was 26.5' so even though I intended to be 1 to 1.5 over depending how you measure it. I am now 68.5 feet so I would suggest that the people who think they are close, hook you rig up to the trailer and actually measure outside to outside you might be suprised like I was.
Two Funcos and one quad, one big wheel, water, gen., gas etc.

I am ashamed to say that we make more Dumont trips than we do Glamis. We usually make 9-12 Dumont trips a year. Only once has the inspection station aske me to stop and wanted to kow what was in the trailer. I told them a Sand Car they looked at it and I was on my way. Knock on wood I have never had a problem with CHP inspection stations.
