OK we all have seen Kim and post on how full the shelters are etc here in the Valley. This plea came from a woman whose HUSBAND is becoming "VIOLENT" with the dogs. I am sure that if he is like that towards the dogs, the woman getting the same treatment, but at least we can maybe save the INNOCENT animals in this household. We are looking preferrably for a forever home, but if anyone could maybe foster one or both that would be great!

hERE ARE SOME OF THE EMAILS/INFO RE: THESE DOGS:

Both of the dogs get along with other dogs. I need to re home them as
soon as possible. My husband has started to get violent with Spuds. I
will try to hold on to them for as long as possible while homes are
found for them.
Please help me find a great home for my dogs.

Mac (puggle) is five years old. He will chase cats in the beginning.
Once he gets used to them, he stops. Mac does not bite. He is good with
kids. He loves to just lay around and takes walks. Both Spuds and Mac
are good with other dogs. They live with a German Shepard. I cannot re
home her because she recently went blind. Mac is fixed and has his
shots. I have all the paperwork from when Mac was bought.

Spuds (border Collie) is about 4 years old. Spuds is a male. He does not
bite. He will chase cats, but will stop after he gets used to them. He
is good with kids, but gets excited. He will chew things if left alone
in the house. He likes to play in water and likes to be inside and
outside. He loves to walk, but in the beginning will pull on the leash.
He has his shots. He is fixed.

Well since the request came thru a rescue, we have to wait until the animals are out. Besides if the only witness is the wife/owner then don't you think it'd be a bad idea to let him know she turned him in? Besides, as sad as it is the "punishment" for animal abuse is to often just a slap on the wrist. All I care about is getting the dogs out of there. So rather than dwell on the POS scum bag that is doing this, I'd rather focus on getting the dogs out of there ASAP.

QG - gawd I wished I owned a home so I could help you guys with fosters like this. I'll do my best to refrain hijacking the thread to rant about the d-bag husband

but you know you can count on me for transport

Sweetiepies - Prayers will be said for you and your mama! Sense for her, and homes for you!

I am so happy to report that Valley Dogs has taken both Spuds and Mac in and they are SAFE.

We have had correspondence with Sara (owner) and have been informed that they still have Jette (6 year old German Shepherd /spayed/vaccinated). Although she doesn’t think Jette is in jeopardy of physical abuse Jette’s sight is deteriorating, vet stated it could be auto immune disease.
What makes this story extremely sad is that Jette lives OUTSIDE. and its 110-115 in PHX!!!! Sarah’s husband refuses to allow her in the house even with her current condition. In addition to Jette losing her two siblings (Mac/Sups, the 2 dogs shown above) Sarah can’t afford to have Jette properly diagnosis or to continue to care for her in the stressful environment they are all living in.

we said we would circulate Jette’s story and we would do our best to help her place Jette in a “Real Home” environment where she can enjoy the indoors and be treated properly for her current condition..

Sarah loves her dogs and realized that they were in danger that is why she has reached out to the rescue community for help. As we all have our own opinions wife.gif on what we would do to someone abusive hunter.gif , I respect Sarah for reaching out and admitting this and getting help. We hope that you will join me in trying to help Jette.
