Hi,

One of the companys I do work for needs 1500 electrical contacts made REALLY quickly. Kind of like the one shown...



If you know of anyplace please let me know.

That looks like EMI/RFI shielding for an enclosure. I've seen it sold by the strip, like weatherstripping. It's probably available through one of the electronics catalogs, like Mouser, Digi-Key, Allied or Newark, or similar.

I checked, it's called finger strip.

This place may have it in stock, or they can make it custom for you...

Thanks Steve. I'll check that link out. I don't usually check for off the shelf things since it usually takes me longer to find it than it does to design it.

IIRC, the US has some issues with beryllium toxicity, maybe OSHA, the EPA or something. It is a class 1 carcinogen.

It might be difficult to find a US company willing to stamp it or machine it. In the past, we've had to buy something very close to what we needed, then modify it slightly to suit our application.
